The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (former ETF) has commended the maintenance culture existing in Ekiti State University (EKSU). The appreciation was made by the TETFUNND Impact Assessment team that inspected projects executed through the TETFUND intervention fund in the University.
The leader of the team, Engr. Ozo-Esan Osakpamwen, who spoke on behalf of other members, said that other tertiary institutions should emulate the University. He stressed that tertiary institutions should continue to maintain projects executed through TETFUND intervention stressing that the organization could not be held responsible for the lack of maintenance in any institution.
In an address, the Vice-Chancellor, EKSU, Prof. Patrick Oladipo Aina commended the good relationship between EKSU and TETFUND and urged the
organization to continue to sustain the relationship.
Prof. Aina said that the University would continue to execute TETFUND projects to specifications. During its stay, the TETFUND Impact Assessment team met the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Olugbenga Aribisala and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development), Prof. (Mrs.) Esther Aderibigbe and
other officers in charge of the execution of TETFUND projects in the University.
At the meeting, the leader of the team explained that the visit was to inspect TETFUND projects, the maintenance and advice appropriately.
