A Delta state teacher with Nana Primary School was on Saturday, March 6, arrested by the men of the Delta state police command for allegedly stealing eight out of fifteen Zinox computer systems supplied to the school by the Delta State Government.
According to a statement released by the command spokesperson, DSP Bright Edafe, the suspect, 34-year-old Oki Precious was arrested after a complaint lodged by the school authorities on March 2 about the stolen computers.
It was later discovered that the suspect is the computer operator working in the school and employed by the parent-teachers association (PTA) of the school.
The suspect led the police to his house where seven (7) computers were recovered. The case has been charged to court.
