The 2013/2014 session matriculation of fresh students was recently held with an admonition to the matriculating students to shun all forms anti-social vices and distractions that can impede their studies.
The remark was made by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Oluyemisi Obilade who urged the new students to adopt positive attitude to their academics by planning and managing their time; seeking for the best by setting goals and being agents of positive change in their generation.
Prof. Obilade further warned that there is zero tolerance for examination malpractice, indecent dressing, cultism, disobedience to constituted authorities and public violence as defaulters will be dealt with seriously.
The high point of the event was the matriculation oath administered by the University Registrar, Mr. Femi Kayode to the students.
