The Kaduna State Government has clarified earlier reports about the kidnap of some students of Government Secondary School, Awon in the Kachia Local Government Area of the state on Monday, April 3.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday, April 4, by Samuel Aruwan, the Commissioner for the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State, the students were kidnapped while they were on their way home from school.
The commission further clarified that eight and not ten students were abducted when they came in contact with the bandits, who had abducted other residents.
