The Council of Nigerian Student Union Presidents has reacted to the viral reports that have been shared online concerning the impeachment of some cabinet members. The union called the publication fake, aimed at causing unnecessary tension amongst Nigerian students.
The statement reads in part;
We the Council of Nigerian Students Union Presidents, an Umbrella Body compromising of all the current 241 constitutional legitimate institutions do hereby write to debunk the fake news in circulating on social media claiming that we have impeached comr. sen. Gambo Abu Mohammed, the Senate president, senators of NANS across Nigerian Tertiary institution of NANS.
