Zone D Chairman, of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) Mr. Anderson Ezeibe has advised students to get ready to go back to school as the strike action that kept them at home for close to one year is about to be called off.
He mentioned that the intervention of the National Assembly on the issue is yielding a promising fruit.
According to him, the major issues are being addressed as the federal government’s committee on BSC-HND dichotomy has started working and their report will be ready soon.
He also said that the ASUP National Executive Committee will meet this week to decide when the strike will be called off.
