St. Albert Institute, Kanfachan notice on commencement of three new programmes

The Rector of St Albert Institute, Fr Emmanuel Faweh Kazah, PhD, had paid a visit to the Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos, Prof. Tanko Ishaya. The Rector, who was in the company of Joseph Dabo, Esq. And Mr Nanle Dawurung, the Registrar and the Deputy Director, ICT, of the Institute were in the University to officially present an application for the floating of three new programs in the Institute. These are, Religious Studies, English and Literary Studies and History and Diplomatic Studies. Upon the favorable approval of the Institute’s application, the active programs that will be domiciled in the Institute shall be five (5), including Philosophy and Theology.

In a bit to underscore the reason for the expansion of the programs in the Institute, the Rector reiterated that “the Philosophy Program which is duly accredited by the National Universities Commission(NUC) has come of age and has graduated Students who have been mobilized for the National Youth Service (NYSC) and the list is burgeoning. Among its teeming Alumni are Catholic, Evangelical and Protestant Clerics, Member of the House of Representative, Military Personnel and budding Academics in some Institutions within the Country.

The Institute is confident that the floating of these programs would offer a platform to the about 312,666 Candidates out of the 774,411 Candidates, which is the total admissions quota for all universities in Nigeria in 2022, the opportunity to bag a degree within their environment, in an atmosphere that is serene and warm and within record time”.The VC had assured the Institute’s Delegates that that request will be given an expeditious attention.

The Management of the Institute invites all suitably qualified Candidates to apply and study Philosophy in the Institute. A trial will convince all!

Fr Emmanuel Faweh Kazah, PhD.
