- Candidate who have chosen this university of education as their First choice in the JAMB/UTME 2024 examinations and have scored a minimum of 100 points and above for ND programmes in addition to 5 credits in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics to apply online.
- Candidates that did not choose SSUES as their First Choice Institution should log on to https://portal.jamb.gov.ng to change their First Choice Institution to SSUES.

Candidates are required to bring the following documents to the screening exercise venue:
- Original & Photocopy of the UTME notification of result slip
- Original and Photocopy of SSUES’s screening on-line registration
- Original and Photocopies of O’level result(s)
