The Honourable Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, has donated an internet facility .
The donation, according to the Honourable Speaker, is to support the University that has been rated second best in Nigeria and to contribute to the academic excellence which the University is known for.
The internet facility was opened for the use of students and staff on campus on Wednesday, 6th January, 2021 and covers the Babatunde Raji Fashola Senate Building, Faculties of Science, Arts, Education, Law, Social Sciences axis, LASU Radio, School of Communication, ICT Centre and other areas.
It is instructive to state that the University which has just been named as Centre of Excellence in Sargassum by Lagos State Government continues to attract goodwill and development under the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Fagbohun whose tenure will lapse on 10th January 2021.
