SOLVIT AFRICA is an education company based in Kigali, Rwanda founded in 2017 to transform tech enthusiasts into top tier world tech professionals through training and outsourcing. We have developed a curriculum that solves the shortage and divide in technical skills in Africa. Step by step, the company has managed to transform below average skilled students into professionals. We provide our services to individuals with a burning desire to learn and update their technical skills. At the end of this opportunity, participants are assured to get employment provided they input the necessary effort.

We are seeking young male and female individuals in Rwanda who are enthusiastic about using software development and coding skills to solve problems for in our 3-month software development bootcamp. Our ideal candidate will have some level of knowledge in software development and testing, as well as a natural curiosity and analytical mind.

Requirements for Solvit Africa Bootcamp Qualification

  • Must have completed a Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering, Computing or Computer Science.
  • Must be aged 30 years or younger at the time of the bootcamp.
  • Must be residing in Rwanda during the duration of the bootcamp 3 months.
  • Must be able to fully commit to the program without clashing commitments.
  •  B1 English proficiency
  •  Knowledge of Relational databases
  •  Ability to work on software applications systems
  • Must possess strong willingness to learn
  •  Ability to work in a team and engage with team members inclusively

Interview date, Process and Venue for Solvit Africa Bootcamp

Selected applicants will be invited to the SOLVIT AFRICA premises for in person interviews following the screening process. The dates for that will be communicated to the individuals who proceed to this stage. During this interview day, you will take part in various activities and have the chance to meet the recruitment and hiring managers, as well as other people involved in the recruitment process.
