Let's be a bit more constructive in this...
Our lecturers (ASUU) and FG have scheduled to meet again by next week to consider the offer tabled to them by our dear President Goodluck Jonathan. And hopefully, an end to the ASUU strike is in sight.
According to ASUU members, president Goodluck's intervention is humble enough and rated the first time a Nigerian president will "personally" meet with ASUU. This is a thumbs up for our president!
Now let's get to the reason behind this update, I have more of a question than suggestion; should ASUU strike be called off next week,
1) How ready are you to return to school?
I understand that some schools were in middle of their semester while others were about writing their exams before the strike commenced,
2) Would you prefer that the school (in the latter case) give more time before starting up the exam or start exams up immediately the strike is over?
Again we know that end of the year is at hand,
3) Do you think it's reasonable enough for schools to re-open after December?
I seek your candid (personal) opinion on these...comment wisely!
