Share how you are getting busy during this ASUU strike & learn from others

ASUU strike grounded academic activities across government-owned universities in Nigeria since July 2, 2013. It got worse as the ASUP counterparts rejoined the strike again last week. Some reasonable students are "growing" with the "opportunity", while others are busy "wasting" at home. Now let's talk about it!

Presently students are doing all sorts of things. These activities can be majorly categorized into two: Positive and Negative, depending on their effects on individual student.

This thread have been created to query idle minds, encourage busy minds, guide those who are yet to decide and elicit ideas from those already engaged and redistribute to those willing to take a step.

What can you do to get busy during this "strike" turned "stroke"?

Well, I can't be exhaustive here, but I will give suggestions then allow you to tell us what you are currently engaged with.

1. Enroll for a Computer Training,
2. Enroll to learn a skill I'm passionate about,
3. Get a part time Job if I need money ahead of resumption - Don't approach your employers as a professional but rather as someone there to do their "dirty work" or run errands. From there, you will be woven into the fibre of the business.
4. Help my parents in the shop than sit at home,
5. Make out time for studies even though we are not in school,
6. Make a nearby Library your recreation scene, read more books, both educative & circulars,
7. For those hoping to sit for JAMB next year, stick to SchoolGist classroom and keep your memory alive,
8. Etc.

Now tell us what you are currently engaged with, where you are working, or anything else you have been spending your time in since July 2nd. Give suggestions to your fellow students too if you can. Start now, and invite friends after sharing yours.
