Secondary school student is rewarded with N340,000 cash gift for returning a missing phone

The honesty of a secondary school student has paid off as he was showered with cash gifts after he returned a lost phone to its owner in Port-Harcourt.

A lawyer, Emma Okah, who shared the story on Facebook on Sunday, April 11, said the student identified as Philemon Igbokwe is said to have seen a mobile phone forgotten by a wedding guest in the restroom of an event centre and proceeded to return the phone to the owner.

The student was rewarded with a cash gift of N50,000 by the lawyer, while two other guests handed him $500 and N50,000. In total, the student went home with N340,000.
