Consultant – Nutrition Survey

Job Location: Maiduguri, Borno
Employee Status: Fixed Term

Education:

  • Postgraduate Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences or related discipline.
  • Qualified and experienced consultant with Health and Nutrition background in surveys and assessments using SMART methodology.

Work Experience:

  • Led at least 2 SMART Surveys (reports to be presented as evidence)
  • Experience working in conflict-affected areas

Languages:

  • Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of local language is an added advantage.

Technical Competencies:

  • The consultant must have a strong background in statistics and data analysis. Must know SMART survey methodology and ENA for SMART, SPSS, Epi/ENA or Epi Info software.
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of and experience with humanitarian guidelines and principles.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work under pressure & meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and inter-sectoral environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team with the other team members.
  • Ability to coordinate, direct and supervise others to achieve a common goal.
  • Ability to live and work in an isolated area in conditions of limited comfort
  • The candidate must present an approved final report of the most recent SMART survey that he or she has conducted.

Consultant – Production of a Video Documentary

Job Location: Abuja
Employee Status: Fixed Term

The consultancy firm will be required to have:

  • 5 and above years of experience working in similar field.
  • Extensive experience in producing development work related documentaries for international organisations with the aim of reaching both local and international audiences.
  • Experience in working with UN agencies and other international organizations.
  • Local Knowledge of CDGP implementing states.
  • Excellent technical capacities (state of art filming equipment preferably High Definition) to ensure smooth and high quality production.
  • Additional experience in development communication will be an added advantage.

Duration of the Assignment:

  • The assignment is expected to take 25 working days from the date of signing the contract.

Intellectual Property

  • All information pertaining to this project (documentary, audio, digital, cyber, project documents, etc) belonging to the client, which the consultant may come into contact with in the performance of his/her, duties under this consultancy shall remain the property of WINNN who shall have exclusive rights over their use. Except for purposes of this assignment, the information shall not be disclosed to the public nor used in whatever without written permission of SCI in line with the national and International Copyright Laws applicable.

Finance Officer

Job Location: Ogoja, Cross River
Employee Status: Fixed Term

Essential Criteria:

  • Level of Education – B.Sc/HND or equivalent
  • Specified Study Area – Finance / Accounts / Business Administration
  • Desirable ACA and or ACCA qualification
  • Knowledge and experience in working with USAID regulations

Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Officer

Job Location: Damaturu, Yobe

Essential:

  • Minimum of B.Sc in Psychology, Psychiatric Nurse, and Medical Social Worker.
  • Minimum 4 years post NYSC cognant experience in clinical setting, NGO and INGO
  • Experience in Psychological First Aid, and other psychosocial support (MHPSS) activities
  • Experience working in Child Protection programs, including those with MHPSS component
  • Fluent in English and Hausa is desirable
  • Working knowledge of Kanuri and Shuwa is an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and discretion with confidential information

Qualifications and Experience

Essential Criteria:

  • University degree or equivalent in Social work, Social Science, development studies or equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years post NYSC work experience in Protection work, supervision, community mobilisation and distributions and solid understanding of the actual Nigeria Emergency context.
  • Proven ability to supervise a CP project with holistic approach and integrated to child protection right
  • Speaking fluent English, and other languages of Northern Nigeria is an advantage
  • Computer literate
