This is to inform all members of the Polytechnic Community that on behalf of the institution Board of Studies, the Rector has approved the resumption of students and the commencement of academic activities in the Second Semester of the 2019/2020 Academic session as scheduled below:
A. Sunday 17th January. 2021 Resumption of all students
B. Monday 18th January, 2021-Commencement of lectures and all other academic activities
For the sake of emphasis, all students of the Institution are to resume on Sunday 17th January
2021, noting that lectures and all other academic activities commence on Monday 18th January,2021
All students are to note that strict compliance with COVID-19 Protocols is a mandatory
requirement for their resumption/entry and participation in academic activities in the Institution
Highlights of such Protocols with which staff members are also to comply are listed below:
1. Compulsory wearing of Nose Mask everywhere on Campus, noting that any
individual who does not wear a Nose Mask will be denied entry
2. Possession of Pocket-size Hand Sanitizer for personal and regular use
3. Hand washing with soap at the School Gate before entry.
4. Observation of social/physical distancing
While wishing our students a safe return to the Institution from their various places of stay
members of the Polytechnic Community are to note the directives of the Rector as stated above for appropriate compliance.
