RSU Post-UTME 2024: cut-off mark, eligibility and registration details

All candidates who chose the Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, during the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have received notification to that effect from JAMB are requested to take note of the following: -

  1. The screening exercise for admission will be administered only to candidates who chose RSU as their first-choice University.
  2. Only candidates who scored 190 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are qualified to apply for the screening exercise in all the Faculties of the University.
  3. Candidates must possess the essential five (5) O’-level credit passes by the University’s Entry Requirements (Faculty /Departmental) as published in the Jamb Brochure. Candidates must upload their O ‘Level results. Candidates who are awaiting their O’level results may apply but should indicate so.
  4.  Candidates are expected to register for the screening exercise online by logging onto rsu.edu.ng using Interswitch Verve-enabled cards to make payment. Candidates are encouraged to use the online chat support for further information and use the Information Communication and Technology Centre (ICTC), Rivers State University, for RELIABLE registration and BIOMETRIC verification.
  5. Candidates should ensure that their correct details are captured during the application for the Post-UTME Screening test
  6. Candidates should note that the mode of the screening exercise is It is important that candidates practice using the computer, especially the mouse and keyboard.
  7. Candidates are expected to note that the screening test shall be done at the University's Information Communication and Technology Centre (ICTC), therefore, they should stick to the time and date on the screening test slip, as no candidates will be allowed after the scheduled date of
  8. The registration for the screening exercise will start on Monday, 29th July, 2024 and end on Saturday, 10th August 2024.

SCHEDULE FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

The Post-UTME screening exercise will take place from Monday, 26th August 2024 at the University's Information Communication and Technology Centre (ICTC). Candidates are advised to get the official RSUST University Post-UTME Past Questions and Answers. Candidates are requested to note that the Screening Exercise will be as scheduled in the screening exercise slip they printed out after their Online registration. The test slip will indicate the scheduled date, time, and venue.

Candidates who fail to take the screening test on the scheduled date and time will not be considered. All candidates for the screening exercise must stick to the examination dates on the test slip printed out during the online registration.

Parents, Guardians, and well-wishers are advised to stay away from the venue of the screening exercise.

It is important to note that the names of successful candidates for admission will be published on the same website (www.rsu.edu.ng).
