Amidst the heightened tension between the Governor Hope Uzodimma led-administration and the former governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha, students of the Rochas Okorocha Foundation College in Orji-Uratta this morning, February 22, staged a protest over the crisis between the statesmen.
The protesting students were pictured carry placards with various inscriptions, appealing to the government not to hurt ''their daddy''.
The incumbent governor has been at loggerheads with the former governor, which led to the eventual conversion of the eastern palm university, said to be owned by senator Okorocha to a government-owned institution.
Also, over the weekend, an estate belonging to the Okorochas was sealed off by the state government, leading to the arrest of the Okorochas when they forcefully tried to gain access to the properties.
