This is to inform Parents and Guardians that schools in Rivers State will resume for the 1st term 2020/2021 academic session on Monday, 16th November 2020. Proprietors of Private Schools and Heads of Public Schools are to ensure continuing compliance with all COVID-19 protocols in their schools.
For the avoidance of doubts, only students in JSS1 to JSS3 and SSS1 to SSS3 are allowed to resume for physical and virtual classes. Pupils in Nursery and Primary schools will continue with virtual learning until a date is announced for physical resumption.
To ensure physical and Social distancing, schools are advised to continue morning and afternoon classes until further notice.
