This is to inform candidates who wish to gain admission into Rivers State College of Health Science and Technology Port Harcourt that the application form for 2014 is out.
List of courses available in RSCHST
i. Medical Laboratory Technician Course (Entry Requirements):
Five (5) credits at WASC/GCE or NECO which must include English Language, Chemistry,Biology,Physics and a pass Mathematics. In addition, candidates must posses any of the listed qualifications; Nigerian Registered Nurse Certificate, Nigerian Registered Midwifery Certificate, Psychiatric Nurse Certification (or Accident and Emergency Certificates: for males) plus one year post qualification experience.
Course Duration: 3 years.
ii. Abridgment/Refreshers HND Programme (Entry Requirements):
National Diploma in Public Health Nursing; in addition to five credits in English Language, Chemistry Physics, Biology and a pass in Mathematics in WASC/NECO/GCE.
Course Duration: 2 years.
