Following the second phase of the reopening of schools for all classes in primary, secondary, technical, vocational and tertiary institutions in Ogun state from Monday 21st 2020, the Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH) is set to reopen fully in compliance with the NCDC safety guidelines.
According to reports, new hand-washing stations have been installed everywhere with a thermometer body check on the campus of the Institute of technology,
OGITECH have started courses for her graduating students enrolled in its Higher National Diploma (HND) programme while activities for the National Diploma (ND) students will kick off immediately the HND are done.
Comrade Michael Olalekan Soaga, a student at the institution who is also the President of the Department of Mass Communication hinted that adequate arrangements have been made to ensure that academic activities are carried out while complying with the prescribed safety protocols set by the NCDC to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
While expressing her excitement and eagerness to resume, Owoicho Grace Enenu, a student of the technology institute called for strict compliance to the preventive measures, adding that with the resumption of academic activities, they were headed towards the achievement of their goals.
