RES4Africa Foundation, together with its partners Strathmore University, AVSI Foundation, and St. Kizito VTI, and with the support of knowledge partner Enel Foundation, is launching the 32nd edition of the RES4Africa Academy Technical and Vocational School (former MGA). The training sessions will be held entirely in person from the 19-23 February 2024.
This edition will focus on Micro-Grid Academy - Module 3: DRE system design, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) and safety and aims to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the whole mini-grids value chain for rural electrification and hands-on learning in laboratories about renewable energy technologies.

Requirements for RES4Africa Academy Technical and Vocational School Qualification
The target beneficiaries will comprise 25 participants, among students, technicians, operators, managers, entrepreneurs and other RE professionals from all African States, particularly Kenya and East Africa. Applicants under 30 and women of any age are particularly encouraged to apply.
Interview date, Process and Venue for RES4Africa Academy Technical and Vocational School
The course will be held physically at Strathmore University in Nairobi, Kenya, with possible field visits and additional practical training at other partners' facilities also in Nairobi. Lessons will be conducted by local and international experts from academia, TVET, and the public-private sector.
Upon successful completion of the training, a certificate of attendance will be granted to the trainees who have attended at least 70% of the total amount of training hours, and successfully completed the final exam and survey.
