The management of Petroleum Training Institute Effurun gives priority to both 100 level and final year students before students in ND II and HND level as the case may be, will be considered. This is because it helps freshers to settle in easily and plan for a new phase of life, easy access to fellow new students, materials, tutorials and lecture halls and this is based on first come first serve basis.
Petroleum Training Institute Effurun hostel accommodation for students is conducive for students. Though PTI hostel accommodation fee varies from hostel to hostel. I will list the hostel fees below so it is up to you to decide if you are going to be interested in making use of the school hostel or renting a room outside the PTI campus. Please note that hostel accommodation in PTI is not compulsory. However, it is advised that fresh students especially stay within the school campus at least in their first year.

PTI HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION FEE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION
Below is the hostel accommodation fee for all hostels in PTI. The hostel accommodation is for both fresh and returning students for 2024/2025 academic session.
Hostel Accommodation Fee is 25,000 Naira per student. Please note that the fee state above is an estimate. Always refer to the school portal for actual fee.

HOW TO APPLY FOR PTI HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION
On how to apply for PTI hostel accommodation fee, newly admitted students are to follow the steps below:
Payment for hostel accommodation is optional and allocation is made only to students that have received the authority for allocation and have completed the payment.
Step 1 – Visit the hall administrators for allocation authorization
Step 2 – Visit remita.net
Step 3 – Click on Pay A Federal Government Agency
Step 4 – Under Name of MDAs, type PTI and choose Petroleum Training
Step 5 – Under Name of Service/Purpose, choose HOSTEL
Step 6 – Under Description, type “Hostel Allocation”.
Step 7 – Under Amount to Pay, type “N25,000” or the required
Step 8 – Enter your full name, phone number and email
Step 9 – Enter the security code and click Proceed to
Step 10 – Copy the RRR code and take it to any bank for
Step 11 – Return to the campus with your teller to get your receipt from the Accounts
Step 12 – Take the receipt back to the Hall Administrators for Payment Verification
Step 13 – Within 12hrs after step 12, login in to your portal to print your Hostel Allocation form which will show your Hostel
Bed space allocation will be on ‘FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS’ as hostel accommodation is limited.
