The Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, PTI 2017/2018 Full-time ND/HND certificate programme Admission has been announced.

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into the Full-time Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND) and Certificate Programmes for the 2017/2018 Academic Session in the following courses;

PTI 2017/2018 Full-time ND/HND/Certificate available Programmes 

The following programmes are available at Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma (ND) levels.

• Petroleum Engineering Technology(HND and ND)
• Welding and Fabrication Engineering Technology(HND and ND)
• Industrial Safety and Environmental Technology(HND and ND)

{HND options: (1) Industrial Safety Technology.(2) Environmental Technology}

• Petroleum and Gas Processing Engineering Technology(HND and ND)
• Mechanical Engineering Technology(HND and ND)

{HND options: (1) Manufacturing, (2) Power Plant}

• Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology(HND and ND)

{HND options: (1) Instrumentation and Control (2) Electronics and Telecommunications  (3) Power and Machines}

• Science Laboratory Technology(HND and ND)
• Mineraland Petroleum Resources Engineering Technology (ND only)
• Petroleum Marketing and Business Studies(HND and ND)
• Computer Science and Information Technology (ND only)

PTI 2017/2018 Full-time ND/HND Admission Requirements 

ND candidates are to possess five (5) Ordinary Level Credit passes relevant to the choice of programme which must include English Language and Mathematics, while HND candidates must possess in addition to the above requirement, National Diploma (ND) relevant to their choice of programmes. PTI 2017/2018 Full-time ND/HND/Certficate Programme Cost Of Admission Form

If you are applying for HND programmes or General Welding and Commercial Diving programmes, you will have to pay a non-refundable fee of seven thousand, five hundred naira (N7,500.00) for the PTI admission form for 2017/2018 Academic Session.

For candidates applying for ND programmes, you will be expected to pay the exact amount as stipulated by JAMB.

PTI 2017/2018 Full-time ND/HND/Certificate Admission Method  Of Application

I. For candidates applying for PTI National Diploma (ND) programmes, they are to apply for 2017 JAMB UTME. This implies that candidates applying for PTI 2016/2017 ND Admission are to register for 2017 UTME and select PTI as their choice  and sit for the 2017 UTME. You are advised also to use the JAMB Brochure to confirm the required subjects you are to sit for in the UTME depending on the course you are applying to study at PTI because the required subjects are not the same for all the course offered in PTI.

II. Candidates applying for ND programmes, General Welding and Commercial Diving programmes are to apply directly to Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) as follows:

• • Visit www.pti.edu.ng
  • Click on “Apply for Admission”
  • Fill in the on-line “Sign on page” by Click on “Click Here to Sign Up” at the bottom of the page. (Note: Write down the Username and Password for subsequent/return use).
  • This will take you to the RemitaRetrieval Reference (RRR) page where you generate the RRR code.
  • Print theRRR code page and take it to any bank for payment. Make sure you keep the RRR code print out.
  • After the payment of N7, 500.00 which is the cost of each admission form,  return to the PTI website (pti.edu.ng) and click on “Return to my Application”.
  • Enter your UserName and Password and click LOGIN
  • Fill in the online application form and print out the completed online application form which will be presented at the examination centre along with your RRR code print out.

PTI 2017/2018 Full-time ND/HND/Certificate Programme Entrance Examination Dates

DATE OF ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR GENERAL WELDING  CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME

The scheduled date for the entrance examination for General Welding Certificate programme is Saturday, June 24^th, 2017, at Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State. Candidates are advised to visit Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State a day before the entrance examination to confirm their examination venues.

DATE FOR HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) INTERVIEW

The scheduled date for interview for HND candidates is June 5^th – June 9^th June, 2017, at the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State.  Candidates’ applying for HND programmes are to ensure their transcripts get to the admission office from the institutions they graduated from on or before June 2^nd, 2017. The transcript should be sent to the school via courier service. You are expected to come for the interview with the evidence or receipt of transcript fee payment.

COMMERCIAL DIVING CERTIFICATE INTERVIEW

Commercial Diving Certificate interview will hold from 14^th – 18^th August, 2017, at the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State.

CLOSING DATE

Online application deadline for HND programmes, General Welding and Commercial Diving programmes is 18^th  May,  2017.

LATE APPLICATION

Late on-line sales of HND, General Welding and Commercial Diving admission forms commences on 19^th May, 2017 and ends on 2^nd June, 2017 at the cost of eight thousand five hundred naira (N8, 500.00).
