Abstract
The purpose of this research is to assess the intricacies of Christianity and the family, taking into consideration that, a person’s environmental condition and believe about God is greatly influenced by his family background. However, those who are brought up in a family where religion is a strong influence would tend to be religiously minded. Be that, as it may, therefore, this research is limited to the study of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Calabar South as a Christian community or conglomerate and how she address fundamental family issues relating to issues of poverty, worship, marriage and divorce, issues of repentance and amongst others.
