The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) has announced that all students and the general public should prepare for strike at anytime from Now.
This was announced by the National Vice President, west zone, following the non implementation of the 2009 Agreement with the Federal Government on the proposed 29th February.
FG had promised the body that the age retirement of their staff will be increased to 65 years. Another promise which is yet to be fully implemented is on the salary issue agreed upon.
The VP also noted that in the last 1 month, up to 6 members have been retired at the age of 60 to join their children in Job Search.
On the actual date of strike, only time will tell. Though, expect it soon.
