1.ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Institute of Education provided he/she also meets the departmental requirements.Holders of the Third Class Bachelors degree plus the Postgraduate Diploma qualification are also eligible to apply.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES ALL FACULTIES AND INSTITUTES
State University of Science and Technology or any other recognized institution.
Not less than Upper Credit in a related discipline obtained from Rivers State University of Science and Technology or any other recognized institution.
3.DURATION OF PROGRAMMES
3.1 The full-time M.Sc (Architecture) and M.Sc (with research)
programmes are structured to last for a minimum of four Semesters (two academic sessions) and a maximum of eight semesters (four academic sessions). The Postgraduate Diploma programme in Business Studies runs for a duration of two semesters (minimum)and four semesters (maximum) without project.
3.2All full-time M.Sc, M.Ed programmes (with research thesis) in Agriculture, Education, Engineering and Estate Management respectively run for four semesters(minimum and eight semesters (maximum)
PROCESSING OF APPLICATION
Payment for application forms for all programmes should be made through by logging onto www.ust.edu.ngand e-payment of Ten thousand Naira
(N10,000.00) only made using Interswitch Verve-enabled cards. Application forms should be completed on-line, downloaded and submitted to the Secretary, Post Graduate School with photocopies of certificates.
For Ph.D applicants, a brief research proposal of their intended areas of studies should also accompany the application form.
It is the responsibility of applicants to ensure that their transcripts and three (3) referees’ reports are forwarded directly to the Secretary, Post Graduate School, Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt.
