Barely 48-hours after the rescue of 344 students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, 80 kidnapped students of an Islamiya school in Katsina state have also been rescued by the police, alongside four victims who were abducted by the bandits who rustled some cows.
This was confirmed by the spokesman for the Katsina Police Command, SP Gambo Isah. He also revealed that they have commenced investigation into the incident.
The students were returning from an Islamic occasion when they were abducted and were rescued after the police received distress calls.
