The Nigerian Police Academy Wudil (POLAC) invites all candidates who successfully completed their online registration in the ongoing 9th regular intake application for physical and credential screening exercise, which is scheduled to hold at designated venues in states across the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, from Monday, September 26th 2024 to Saturday, October 1st 2024, from 8:00 am daily.
The CBT test dates for all applicants have been stated clearly towards the end of this post.
POLAC Screening Requirements
Please note that all you are therefore to proceed to their respective states of origin and appear at your various screening venues or centres with your clean white T-shirts and shorts with the following mandatory screening requirements, nearly arranged in 2 (two) flat files with recent passport photographs attached:
- Evidence of physical and mental fitness from a government recognized hospital
- Evidence of good character from your village/district head
- Indigene certificate signed by your local government chairman or secretary
- National Identity Number (NIN) slip
- Original and duplicate copies of credential, that is, O’level results, Certificate of origin and birth certificate/Age declaration and your JAMB result print out slip.
- Printout of application form
- Duly completed guarantor’s form
- Invitation slip
Please be informed that any candidate who fails to comply with the above (1 – 8), will not be considered for screening, hence disqualified.
POLAC Screening Test Schedule 2024/2025 Session
The computer based test (CBT) has been scheduled to take place at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil-Kano, Computer Centre from 7th to 15th November, 2022 at 7:00am daily.
Candidates are to report at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil-Kano on the date and time on their invitation letter.
Applicants are advised to visit www.polca.edu.ng to login with their respective USERNAME and PASSWORD (CANDIDATE’S NAME AND JAMB NUMBER AND YOUR NIN NUMBER) to print out your invitation letter.
Invited applicants are to go along with the following items to the venue of the computer based test.
- Letter of invitation
- National Identity Number Slip
Applicants are hereby advised to pay attention to details and specific guidelines as stated on the screening exercise. Meanwhile, the commandant, AIG Ahmad Abdurrahman, PSC (+) mni, has assured that the statutory requirements into the Force as clearly stated in the Police Act and Regulations, would be followed to ensure to ensure that all applicants shortlisted are allowed to participate and to recommend their suitability or otherwise in the spirit of transparency, accountability and fair hearing using the already established benchmarks as contained in the Act.
The Commandant, while reiterating that the automated physical screening exercise is absolutely free of charge, advised applicants to be wary of criminal elements who would want to utilize this opportunity and take undue advantage of innocent applicants during this exercise to scam them. He however warned that anyone found wanting will be made to face the full wrath of the law.
