Pan South African Language Board (PanSALB) seeks to appoint results-driven, assertive and dedicated individuals to fill the following positions.

The Pan South African Language Board invites graduates who seek practical work experience and unemployed graduates who are interested in a public service career to apply for internship (an occupationally based work experience opportunity) in the occupations mentioned below for a minimum of twelve months.

The Pan South African Language Board (PanSALB) is a statutory body established in terms of Act 59 of 1995 (as amended) for, inter alia, the creation of conditions for the development and for the promotion of equal use and enjoyment of all the official South African languages.

The Pan South African Language Board is established in terms of the Pan South African Language Board Act 59 of 1995 amended as PANSALB Amendment Act of 1999. Aim and Benefits of PanSALB Internships

  • Stipend: R6,174.96 per month for relevant National Diploma Qualification
  • R9,378.33 per month for the relevant Degree Qualification/ Honours
  • R11,148.81 per month for the relevant to Masters Qualifications
  • R13,915.12 per month for the Doctorate Qualifications

Requirements for PanSALB Internships Qualification

  • The applicants must not have been exposed to work experience in their area of study or have participated in an internship programme in a government department or institutions.
  • PanSALB aims to enhance the employability of unemployed graduates as potential employees through this internship programme.

  • Applications with foreign qualifications must submit a SAQA evaluation report on the qualification.
