PAAU receives NUC full accreditation for the October/November 2023 accreditation

Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba has secured full accreditation from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for all programmes presented during the accreditation exercise conducted in October/November 2023.

The announcement was made by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Marietu Ohunene Tenuche, during the 327th Meeting of the University Management Committee (UMC) held on July 2, 2024. 

The Vice-Chancellor highlighted that all 12 programmes presented for accreditation received full accreditation status, including Banking and Finance, Agriculture, Forestry, Home Science, Anatomy, and Human Physiology. Others are Educational Administration and Planning, Food Science and Technology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Geography, and Political Science.

The accreditation result signifies a 100% pass rate, a status that has been consistently upheld by the Professor Tenuche-led Administration of the Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba and underscores the consistent excellence maintained under Professor Tenuche's leadership at PAAU. It reflects the University's dedication to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and research, solidifying its reputation as a distinguished institution of higher education.

Professor Tenuche reaffirmed her commitment to upholding quality standards and best practices to ensure PAAU continues to secure full accreditation in future assessments. She extended special appreciation to the Kogi State Government, the University Governing Council, the University Management Team, and all stakeholders whose support and hard work contributed to this remarkable achievement.
