Owner of a Fake Maritime School Apprehended by The Nigerian Navy

The owner of a fake marine school in Calabar known as Flight Marine Safety Academy has been arrested by the Nigerian Navy alongside six students of the school.

According to the commanding officer of the Navy team that made the arrest Commodore Frederick Ogu, the said school has no accreditation and authorization from NIMASA or any other relevant body to be in existence.

He further stated that considering the present security challenges it is totally out of place for anyone to engage in such a high profile security aberration.

The arrested men who were said to be in possession of Nigerian Navy uniforms and identity cards, at the point of arrest at the Federal Inland Waterways Jetty in Calabar while returning from Cameroon; have been handed over to the Cross River State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Mr Benito Eze who promised to ensure their immediate prosecution.
