At its meeting of Tuesday, 21st February, 2023, the Board of Studies (the highest academic decision making organ of the invittulion) considered the circular from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) with reference number C/TEB. 792/Vol. 11/39 dated 10th February, 2023 which requested the Polytechnic and similar institutions in Nigeria to shut down for academic activities in respect of the upcoming General Elections from Wednesday, 22nd February to Tuesday 14th 2023.
It therefore resolved to approve the ampension of academic activities for the salety of students in particular in line with Section 25 (a) of the State Polytechnic Law of 1992
Without doubt, the school authorities have adjusted the Academic Calendar for 2022/2023 Academic Session accordingly and the Institution will resume for academic activities on Wednesday 15th March, 2023,
Finally, the school authorities with all the stakeholders peaceful elections
