OSCOTECH stands for Ogun State College of Health Technology, a health institution formed on the 28th of September, 1976 with a vision to train middle—level manpower for the delivery of primary health care in Ogun state and Nigeria at large. Unlike the NUC that regulates the courses offered in Universities, OSCOTECH being a diploma degree awarding institution, the programmes offered in this institution are regulated by National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) hence the award of ND and HND certificates upon completion. OSCOTECH ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Are you a Direct entry candidate from another college of health with intention to transfer to this institution? or a fresh ND or HND candidate? please go through the admission requirement before you begin your application.
- The admission requirements for National Diploma (ND) programmes at OSCOTECH require that interested candidate must have obtained at least five (5) credits O/level passes, in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physic and Biology obtain in either WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in not more than two (2) sittings.

All ND applicants are to purchase the JAMB form as a requirement for admission into the Ogun state college of Health, Ilese, Ogun state.
Are you through with school but awaiting your WAEC or NECO result and confused if you are eligible to apply or not? Please note that all applicants with awaiting results are ELIGIBLE TO APPLY. However you are to indicate that you are still awaiting your O’Level in the AR column provided in the registration form but note that your O/Level results being awaited must be made available before screening exercise as no student would be considered for admission without complete O’level results.
Candidates seeking admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes includes must have obtained at least a National Diploma (ND)in relevant course/programme with at least, a Lower Credit and at least 5 credit passes in his or her O’Level results.
OSCOTECH Admission Guideline: Step By Step Procedure
Having explained the above requirement, you should go through the available courses and programmes offered in OSCOTECH at ND and HND level and check HERE for the requirements for each course.
Upon confirming your choice of course, you will be required to purchase a JAMB form as soon as the form is made available, select OSCOTECH as your first choice of institution and sit for the exam at the appropriate time.
Make sure you pass your UTME and score at least 160 and above to be eligible to apply and gain admission in as much as OSCOTECH cut off mark will definitely be less than 160. Working towards a high JAMB score makes the admission process easy.
OSCOTECH ND and HND admission form will be made available towards the end of the second semester, ND and HND candidates are to purchase this form and apply for admission. As an ND candidate, you will be required to site for post UTME screening test and upon being successful, you will wait for the release of admission list before proceeding to pay for OSCOTECH acceptance fee and start your registration and screening exercise.
