When is OOU admission list coming out? How do we check our admission status? How do I know if I have been admitted? How can I check my OOU admission status using JAMB CAPS? All these and many more questions have been answered in this post as the admission list for 1st batch candidates has just been released by the management of the institution.
We therefore use this medium to inform the general public that the general public that OOU first (1st) batch admission list for 2024/2025 academic session has been released, this information is most important to those who partook in OOU post UTME admission screening exercise.
All eligible candidates are to proceed by following the outlined steps and procedures below proceed and check if they names are among those considered for admission.
Note: Currently as at the time of updating this article, OOU admission list has not been uploaded on the portal. The management is currently compiling the names of those to be offered admission.
How To OOU Admission List 2024/2025
It has been officially announced that OOU First (1st) batch admission list for 2024/2025 session has been released and now available on Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye result checking Portal.
See below for steps and procedures on how to check the 2024/2025 OOU admission list
STEP 1: Visit to OOU admission status checking portal at https://www.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/portal/admission/login.php,
STEP 2: Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Password (For first login, use your SURNAME as password) in the provided columns,
FINAL STEP: Click the “Login” button to access your OOU admission status.
Upon confirming your status, you will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of Sixty Thousand Naira (₦ 60,000.00) as acceptance fee, this is to be paid with 1 weeks from the date of the release of the first batch admission list
OOU Acceptance Fee Payment Procedure
Successful applicants are to pay a non-refundable fee of Sixty Thousand Naira (₦ 60,000.00) only with immediate effect through any of the under listed means to process their acceptance letter
STEP 1: Payment through any of the University Point of Sales (POS) on any of the University campuses (Ayetoro, Ibogun, Remo (Shagamu/Ikenne) and Main Campus at Ago-Iwoye). Payment through Internet by logging on to https://portal.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/admission/index.php
STEP 2: All Candidates offered Provisional Admission should proceed with the steps listed below:
- Visit: portal.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/admission
- Click on CHECK ADMISSION STATUS to confirm your admission
- Provide your JAMB Number and SURNAME as password to log on to the admission portal
- On successful log on, click MAKE ACCEPTANCE PAYMENT
- Once the acceptance payment profile has been loaded, click on either
- MAKE WEB PAYMENT – This allows you to pay online directly using your ATM card,
OR
MAKE POS PAYMENT – Print the ACCEPTANCE PAYMENT PROFILE and proceed to designated POS Points to make the payment. - If you encounter any challenge on the procedure visit OOU ICT Centre, Ago-Iwoye for further clarification.
STEP 3: Proceed to the Academic Affairs Office for your 1st Verification and your Faculty for 2nd Verification
(a) Present to the Registration Officer, the originals and one set of photocopies of the following documents arranged separately in the order shown below:
- Verification/Personal Data Form
- Acceptance Fee Receipt
- UTME Score Result
- Post UTME Result
- O’level Result
- Diploma Result and other entry requirements (for DE Candidates only)
- Birth Certificate
- Tax Clearance Certificate OR N10,000.00 Ogun State Tax Receipt
- JAMB Admission Letter
- Counter-sign the verification forms at the College/Faculty Offices.
How To Check OOU Admission Status On JAMB Portal
The Procedures below will help you check your admission status on JAMB Caps Portal and also Accept it.
STEP 1: Candidates are to login to the JAMB website and click on CAPS to check their admission status, and click on accept/reject button to either accept or reject the offer.
STEP 2: Candidates whose admission status show “not admitted” should keep checking the JAMB website for further updates.
STEP 3: Candidates should please note that the Admission List will be published in batches on the University’s website as they are processed. Candidates are therefore advised to keep on checking the university’s website for the Admission List.
STEP 4: Those offered provisional Admission should proceed with the Acceptance and Registration processes. The procedure will soon be made available.
