17-year-old Chisom Chukwuneke, one of 2019 best WAEC students, who scored an impressive seven A1 in her papers and was the best WAEC candidate in her school, has been confirmed dead.
The father of the Girl who is a Professor, Felix Chukwuneke shared the sad news of Chisom's passing on his Facebook page. According to prof. Chukwuneke, Chisom had complained of having pains in her leg in June 2019, and she was flown to South Africa for medical care.
She was responding to the treatment and the family was happy with her recovery rate. Unfortunately, things took a sad turn of events and Chisom gave up the fight.
In the tribute shared on his page, the father talked about his late daughter's character, and how she was strong and did her best to fight the sickness. He also talked about the gift his daughter promised him before his birthday, he didn't know that the gift will be her death.
