How To Apply for OAUTHC School of Nursing Post Basic Nursing And Midwifery Pre-Operative Admission Form

This is a three-year programme commencing towards August, 2024

Requirements

• Applicants must possess: WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. He or she should be at least sixteen (16) years old on admission.

Method of Application

• Application forms are obtainable from the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife at a cost of Seven Thousand Naira (N7,000.00) only.

Passport Photograph

Two recent identical passport photographs should be attached to the application form.

Mode of Examination

The examination will be Computer Based Test.

Closing Date 

Completed application form should be returned to the office of the Principal, Schools of Nursing, Ife Hospital Unit, Ile-Ife and Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa respectively on or before 30^th June, 2024.

Date of Entrance Examination

Entrance examination shall be conducted by the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Nursing and Midwifery Central Selection Committee between Friday 30^th June, 2024.

II. OAUTHC POST BASIC GENERAL NURSING

This is an eighteen-month programme commencing in March, 2024.

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with 5 credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• Be a registered Midwife or Psychiatric Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
• Have at least one year post registration working experience.

Method of Application

• Application forms are obtainable online from the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife website www.oauthc.com at Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only through remita platform via OAUTHC Website.

Completed application forms should be returned to the office where the forms are obtained on or before 31st May, 2024/2025.

• Written Test: Tuesday 2^nd June, 2024.
• Oral Interview: Wednesday 3^rd and Thursday 4 June, 2024.
• Time: 8:00 a.m.

III. OAUTHC POST BASIC MIDWIFERY

This is an eighteen-month programme commencing in September, 2024.

Requirements

Applicants must:

1. Possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
2. Possess Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse.

IV. OAUTHC POST BASIC PERIOPERATIVE NURSING

This is a twelve-month programme commencing in November, 2024.

Requirements

• Applicants must:
  1. Possess credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in not more than two (2) sittings.
  2. Possess Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse.
