Position: Senior Lecturer (CONUASS 5)
We are seeking individuals with a strong academic foundation. The ideal candidate will have a first-degree not below Second Class Lower, a Master’s degree, and a Ph.D. in the subject area. They should possess a minimum of six (6) years of teaching, research, community service, and professional experience. Applicants should also have a notable record of publications in reputable journals and the ability to mentor students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Membership in relevant professional bodies is a plus.

Qualifications and Experience
For Professors: A remarkable academic journey is required. Applicants should have a good first degree, a Master’s degree, and a Ph.D., along with a minimum of twelve (12) years of post-qualification experience. Registration with COREN and a substantial portfolio of scholarly publications are essential.
For Readers: A seasoned academic with at least nine (9) years of post-qualification experience. COREN registration is mandatory, and a strong commitment to academic leadership is expected.
For Senior Lecturers: Candidates should have a good first degree, a Master’s degree, and a Ph.D., with at least six (6) years of post-qualification experience. COREN registration is necessary.
For Lecturer I: Applicants should possess a good first degree, a Master’s degree, and a Ph.D., with a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification experience. Strong academic leadership, teamwork, and administrative skills are valued.
NON-TEACHING VACANCIES
- Internal Audit Unit
Position: Chief Internal Auditor (CONTISS 13)
Applicants for this position should have a good first degree in Accounting or a related finance discipline. A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience is required, with three (3) years at a senior management level. Full membership in recognized accounting/auditing bodies and proficiency in relevant accounting/auditing software is necessary.
Position: Internal Auditor II (CONTISS 07)
Applicants for this position should have a good first degree in Accounting or related disciplines, along with B.Sc. Accounting or A.I.A. and a minimum of two (2) years of post-qualification experience. Proficiency in relevant accounting/auditing software is essential.
- Legal Services Unit
Position: Administrative Officer I (Legal) CONTISS 8
Candidates for this position should hold an LL.B. degree with at least Second Class Lower and Barrister at Law (BL). A minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification experience is required.
- Information and Communication Technology Unit
(a) Position: Webmaster II (CONTISS 7)
Applicants should have a B.Eng/B.Tech/HND or B.Sc in Computer Engineering/Informatics or related disciplines, along with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience. Proficiency in web management, SEO, content creation, and programming/script languages is advantageous.
(b) Position: Systems Programmer II (CONTISS 7)
Applicants should possess a B.Eng/B.Tech/HND or B.Sc in Computer Engineering/Informatics or related disciplines, along with practical experience in networking and server administration. Specialized experience in software systems, scientific applications, information management systems, or commercial applications is preferred.
