Ideally, just like in every tertiary institution, OAU acceptance fee is the first payment to be made by any newly admitted student, It simply states that you as a student has officially accepted the provisional admission granted to you by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) upon meeting all requirements for admission at OAU, however, candidates still has the right to accept the admission or reject it and this can be done via JAMB CAPS.

OAU Acceptance fee for fresh students 2024/2025 academic session is 20,000 Naira for all students irrespective of the department they are admitted into, this fee is to be paid within the stipulated period as directed by the management of OAU, Ile-ife.
Please note that upon payment of the Obafemi Awolowo University acceptance fee, other fees and charges like accommodation fee, Library fee, faculty and departmental dues, ICT levy and the likes are to be paid after payment of the acceptance fee.
