NYSC DG decries high number of unqualified international students in the scheme

The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps,  Brig-Gen. Mohammed Kaku Fadah has expressed his disappointment in the high number of unqualified international students partaking in the scheme.

Fadah, during the opening ceremony of the 2022 Batch C pre-mobilization workshop held on Thursday, September 15, disclosed that field officers unraveled a good number of corps members in the 2022 Batch ‘B’ Streams I and II Orientation programs, who couldn't defend their educational qualifications.

He noted that these NYSC members were mostly people who had schooled outside Nigeria and only return to partake in the mandatory one-year national service.
