NYSC Assures Parents, Corps Members of Security in Kebbi:
NYSC Coordinator in Kebbi, Mr Tom Unuigboje, on Friday, assured parents and corps members posted to the state of adequate security during the service year.
Unuigboje gave the assurance in an interview in Birnin Kebbi.
He said that the NYSC directorate and security agencies, as well as traditional leaders had adopted adequate security measures to protect corps members.
He added that “the NYSC directorate and stakeholders have mobilised security personnel at each lodge and phone numbers of the security chiefs provided to corps members to report any threat to them.

The coordinator commended the state government for sustaining the joint military patrol along major roads leading to the permanent NYSC orientation camp.
Unuigboje said that the camp is located in Dakingari in Suru Local Government Area of the state, a distance of 157 kilometres from Birnin Kebbi.
He also commended the provision of amenities at the camp that had ensured smooth conduct of orientation activities.
He added that the major challenge facing the state NYSC directorate was the quest by corps members to be
posted out of the state, noting, however, that the problem had drastically reduced. (NAN)
