NUC Approves JABU Law Programme

THE National Universities Commission, NUC, has given the first entrepreneurial university in Nigeria, Joseph Ayo Babalola University, its approval to run a College of Law.

The NUC team, which visited the institution to ascertain its level of preparedness for the commencement of the programmes in Law, gave its mandate to the University via a mail sent to the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Sola Fajana.

Professor Sola Fajana said all hands have being on deck awaiting the approval of the programme. He added that concerted efforts have been made to ensure that the University is constantly in line with the provisions laid down by the regulatory body.

The National Universities Commission, NUC, gave its approval for two programmes in the University, Law (LLB) and Public Administration (B.Sc.).
The regulatory body admonished the University Management to provide adequate human and material resources for the development and growth of the approved programmes.
