The chairman of the Nasarawa State Polytechnic branch of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (NASUP), Mr David Ayitono-Goshi, on Wednesday while speaking with journalists after a meeting with the management of NSUK disclosed that the union has suspended its 7 months old strike.
According to him this came as a result of the intervention and consequent promise of some dignified personalities to ensure favourable response of the authorities to the union’s agitations.
He however mentioned that the suspension of the strike is “conditional”, implying that the union would continue with strike if their grievances were not addressed by the government within three months and called on all members of the union to resume work immediately.
