In an attempt to process the results for the 2021_2 examinations, the Directorate of Examinations and Assessment (DEA) observed that students on the attached list have failed to attempt their tutor-marked assignments (TMA) It was also observed from student performance that the minimum pass grade for exam component was obtained by these students. This implies that the affected students would not have complete results
In order to ameliorate this situation, the DEA with the permission of the University Management decides that necessary machinery be put in place for the students to re-take their un attempted TMAs in the next available opportunity
Therefore, these affected students whose matriculation numbers are listed in the attachment, are requested to attempt their TMAS. They do not need to re-take the examination in the affected courses, Failure to do so and submit their attempted TMAS would mean that the student loses the privilege. The implication is that they have to re-register for the course again and sit for the TMA and the examination.
