The JAMB head of media, Dr Fabian Benjamin has disclosed that the board has released the results of the just concluded 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination had since been released, however a few of the results are still being reviewed.
He stated that is not all candidates whose results are yet to be released that are involved in examination malpractice. But some of the centres where the candidates wrote the exam has issues. And these issues are what JAMB is what JAMB is carefully investigating before releasing the results.
According to him, a task force has been inaugurated by the Registrar of the Board, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, to look into all such issues and has since concluded the review of the CCTV footages and other evidence presented.
He said that the task force would forward its reports to the appropriate quarters for the scrutiny and onward release of all remaining results.
He appealed to candidates to remain calm as no result will be seized without a good or cogent reason and this is why JAMB is taking time to ensure that candidates who are innocent are exonerated.
