Biography and Early Life:
Nkechi Blessing Sunday popularly known as Nkechi Blessing is a popular Nigerian actress, movie producer, script writer and musician. The 32 year old actress was born on 14th February 1989 in Surulere Lagos, Nigeria. Though she was born and bred in Lagos, the beautiful talented actress hails from Abia State, South-eastern part of Nigeria. Most people think she is the only surviving child of her parents having lost her brother to the cold hands of death in June 2017, unknown to so many Nkechi also has a younger sister known as Jennifer Sunday who is currently just 21. Not much is known about her father but her mother is Gloria Sunday, a business woman who Nkechi Blessing is super proud of. Being born and brought up in Lagos, Nkechi also became fluent in Yoruba which is one of the reasons why she has featured more in Yoruba movies however, she is also speaks igbo well.
Her Education Background:
Our beautiful actress had her primary school education at Olu Abiodun Nursery and Primary School, and Barachel Model College, all in Lagos. Then she proceeded to get admission into tertiary institution and studied Theatre Arts (Diploma for six months) at the University of Lagos, Ojo. However she didn’t stop there, her desire to acquire more education drove her into studying International Relations in Houdegbe North American University, Benin Republic where she bagged a degree.
Her Career:
After she left school, she decided it was time for her to pursue her passion in acting. That was when she met Kemi Korede who after seeing her passion for acting, featured her in her movie ‘Omo Bewaji’ in 2008. With her first movie in the bag, she also proceeded to meet Emeka Duru who offered her a role in Emem Isong’s movie, ‘Through Fire’. Nkechi also featured in a host of other movies like; When Hell Freezes, Unrequited, Alakada Reloaded, The Document, Kafila Omo Ibadan, Weight of guilt, The ghost and the tout, Oko smally, Ghetto champion and others.
Nkechi Blessing didn’t stop at just being a successful actress, she also ventured into producing movies. She made a debut in her career as a producer when she produced the movie ‘Omoge Lekki’, a movie that depicts the fake lives of young girls living in Lekki, Lagos. She has also produced four other movies; Church girls, Fiditi, Unsane and Don.

Personal Life – Husband and Family
The beautiful and talented actress has just divorced her Politician husband Honorable Opeyemi David Falegan. The union blessed with a son has crashed barely1 year after tying the knot. There’s been rumour about a possible break up based on their rifts which they played ignorant to by denying they are still in love with each other.
As a confirmation of their divorce, her now ex husband Falegan stated in a live video interview without mincing his words that they are divorced and warned the general public from referring to him as Nkechi Blessing’s husband. He further stated that their privacy should be respected because of their son who is still a kid and wouldn’t want to be embroiled in this brouhaha.
Prior to their divorce, the union is blessed with a son named King Elijah Success who is popularly known as Novah Success albeit, Honorable Opeyemi Falegan is not the biological father of the boy. The handsome little man who is over a year old has a huge number of followers on social media and already has an ambassadorial deal to his name. She reportedly broke up with her boyfriend known as Mike Adeyemi in November 2019. He is the only man she has publicly shown off as her man until lately, but he is not the father of her son. Nkechi Blessing is not new to the world of controversy as a result of her outspokenness, the actress has also been accused of dating married men and having affairs with men who are already in a relationship.
Sometime ago Nkechi Blessing was also seen engaging in a war of words with the infamous Nigerian cross-dresser (Bobrisky), in series of posts were they exposed their dirty secrets online. She also engaged in heated words online with a musician called Dotman when she tried to give him unsolicited advice about being humble.
