The dream and aspiration of every degree law student is to go to Law school, there is this feeling of accomplishment upon graduation from The Nigerian Law school, graduands can attest to this.

Yes attending law school does come with a lot of findings, which includes candidates search for the admission requirements into the Nigeria Law school, in as much as a graduate from any of the recognized universities in Nigeria has acquired his or her degree in Law (LLB) it is not enough requirement for admission into the Nigerian Law school.

Thirdly, many are of the notion that there are only 2 Law schools in Nigeria, there are actually 6 law schools in Nigerian with the Abuja campus as headquaters, namely;

A) Abuja Headquarters – located in Bwari

B) Lagos Campus

C) Enugu Campus

D) Bayelsa Campus

E) Kano

F) Yola Campus

Also the above all pay equal fee and admission requirements into all the law schools are the same.

Another air to clear is that graduates of distance learning programme with a degree in Law is currently not acceptable by Nigerian Law school, this could change in future though

Lastly, NYSC is not an admission requirement into the Nigerian Law school as many used to think otherwise.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS INTO THE NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL

In order to be eligible for admission into the Nigerian Law school, you must meet the following requirements;

A) Law Degree Certificate: Aspiring candidates into the Nigerian Law school must a Law degree or Mixed Degree in Law.

B) Aspiring candidate should satisfy the Qualifying Degree requirement, and it is very important that only the students of common law countries are acceptable for admission into the NLS

C) Another major requirement is your academic transcript: You are required have Qualifying Degree transcript which displays all courses offered from start to finish in your respective institution and their grades

After all the above requirements have been duly met, candidates become eligible for admission,
