The management of Nigeria Maritime University has released the proposed academic calendar for the 2022/2023 academic session scheduled as follows;
- Monday 6th March 2023 - online registration portal opens for fresh and returning students
- Sunday 26th March 2023 - Fresh Students resumes
- Monday 27th March 2023 - Clearance for fresh students
- Wednesday 29th March 2023 - Orientation for new students
- Monday 3rd April 2023 - Lectures begins
- Monday 8th May 2023 -- Matriculation Ceremony
- Friday 14th July 2023 - First Semester examination ends
