How does it feel when you don't achieve your dreams? Definitely you will feel very bad. But that doesn't mean your life is over. Surely, disappointments would come, and only a determined person would strive to achieve his dreams despite all odds.
There is this friend of mine who have always wanted to study Economics. He wrote jamb three times, but his marks still wasn't enough for him to get admitted.
He decided to take jamb again the next year. But this time his scored higher than he did the previous years, he score 259 in jamb and 60 in putme, but still yet it wasn't up to the cut-off mark for Economics. He felt very bad but he did not give up. Then he took jamb again the next year, and he scored above board.
This friend of mine could have studied any other course that doesn't require high marks, but his zeal and determination paved a way for his success. He is now a graduate of UNIZIK, and now a renowned economist. If he wasn't hungry for success,he wouldn't have achieved his dreams.
So, I'm using this thread to urge students or individuals who felt like their world has crumbled because of one disappointment to never give up on your goal.
Disappointment doesn't mean we are losers, but means we are strong enough to face the challenges of life.
A dogged person never gives up until he has completed his mission. And we also should never forget our creator in heaven, for Him alone gives us the strength to achieve our dreams.
