NDU JUPEB and BASIC admission form for 2024/2025 academic session is out and registration has started. In this post, we will be discussing everything about NDU JUPEB (pre-degree) and BASIC application form for 2024/2025 academic session, how to apply for NDU JUPEB & BASIC form online via NDU’s portal, the cost of NDU’s  JUPEB and BASIC form  and the closing date for submission of all completed forms for 2024/2025 academic session.

I shall be breaking the process of applying for NDU JUPEB and BASIC admission form in a coordinated manner for ease of understanding most especially for first time applicants. However, applicants that have previously registered and participated in the previous exercise but did not make it through can equally gain form this information being posted here.

In collaboration with the JOINT UNIVERSITIES PRELIMINARY EXAMINATIONS BOARD (JUPEB), the Niger Delta University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission to the Pre-Degree Programmes for 2024/2025 session.

The Programme leads to the award of the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Certificates which enables candidates to gain Direct Entry Admission to 200 level of the degrees offered by the Niger Delta University and other JUPEB affiliated Universities in Nigeria and Universities abroad. The JUPEB Certificate is equivalent to the Advance Level GCE or the Old Higher School Certificates (HSC) or IJMB.

For admission into the Niger Delta University and other JUPEB affiliate institutions, each candidate, in addition to passing the prescribed JUPEB examination for issuing the Direct Entry Certificates, must satisfy all admission requirements prescribed by Departments and Faculties of choice.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

a) Applicants must have five ‘O’ level credits relevant to the proposed course of study including English Language and Mathematics not more than two(2) sittings in GCE and SSCE.

b) Admission is open to candidates that are awaiting the release of the most recent WAEC and NECO School Certificate Examination results as well as those who have attempted and are still preparing to sit for these exams again. However, admission to Degree Programmes in the University will also depend on candidate’s performance in the current JAMB.

In addition, this programme also prepares Senior Secondary School (SS III) students and other school leavers for the NECO and WAEC Examination.

All the combinations above meet the entry requirement for  direct  admission to Degree Programmes in the Niger  Delta University and other JUPEB affiliate Universities.

DURATION OF PROGRAMME:

The duration of the study is one Academic Session of two Semesters. It is strictly a non-residential programme.

How To Apply for NDU Pre-degree and BASIC Admission Form

Step 1 – Go to any Access/Diamond Bank Branch in Nigeria.

Step 2 – Pay a fee of five thousand naira (N5,000.00) only to Account Number: 0016405919 and obtain a Teller-Duplicate. The University will not subsidize other charges such as bank charges.

Step 3 – Proceed to the School of Pre-Degree and Basic Studies, ICT Building at the New Site and obtain admission application form at the Basic Studies Unit for your further processes.

Closing Date for Submission of Form

The management of NDU school of Basics and pre-degree programme has announced that all completed NDU pre-degree and BASIC application forms be submitted on or before 30th November, 2024.
