About NDPHC
NDPHC was established to accelerate power infrastructure development in Nigeria. As part of the National Integrated Power Project (NIPP), NDPHC manages numerous power projects and owns the largest fleet of power plants in Africa.
Internship Program Details
Description
The NDPHC Internship Program is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative focused on building capacity and developing skills for Nigerian engineering graduates. The program runs for 12 months, during which interns will work and learn in various departments.
Framework
- Duration: 12 months
- Selection: Candidates will be chosen from the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria
- Experience: Interns will be posted to NDPHC’s operational power plants and will rotate through different departments to gain experience in gas, generation, and transmission sections of the electricity/energy industry.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the NDPHC Internship Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Nationality: Must be a Nigerian citizen
- Education: Must have a Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant engineering fields with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) or Upper Credit
- Relevant fields include Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical/Production Engineering, Mechatronics/Chemical Engineering, and Computer Engineering
- Graduation Date: Must have graduated from university or polytechnic not earlier than 2017
- Age: Must be no more than 26 years old
- NYSC: Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Program (NYSC)

Selection Process
Qualified engineers will undergo a multi-stage selection process:
